Monitoring the organization of annual and other Conferences, seminars and offering methodological courses online or offline modes.
Monitoring publications on economic issues relating to Indian and Global Economies for disseminating the results among, researchers and for larger benefit(s) of the academic society.
Promoting exchange of Faculties, Professors, and Research Specialists within India and other countries through fellowship, travel grants, and other means.
Promoting research programmes and projects. It may have memorandum of understanding and membership with other organizations.
Co-operating, collaborating and coordinating with local, regional and International Economic Bodies and public agencies.
Mobilizing financial resources and accepting donations and grants.
Instituting awards and conferring them on such scholars who made outstanding contribution to the discipline.
Any other as and when decided by the GB in wider interest of the Trust and the country.
Amendments
Amendment means addition, subtraction, or change. Amendments to the Article should be proposed in writing by any member and seconded by two other members and forwarded to the General Secretary. The General Secretary will circulate the same among trust members at least two weeks before the meeting at which they are to be considered. Amendments may be introduced in the GB meeting of the IEA TRUST at which they are to be considered.
Amendments to the Article require to be reported for their adoption by the GB. The by-laws of IEA Trust will be amended by the affirmative vote of two thirds of the trustee members, present and voting.
Eligibility for Voting:
Member shall be eligible for voting provided he/she has been a Trustee in GB on the date of the meeting. Invited experts will not have the right to vote in meeting.
